College of the Redwoods-Community Education in Garberville Title: Archaeomythology Date: January 31 2015 Day: Saturday Time: 10am-4pm Fee: $50 Min: 10 Max:25 Instructor: Gillian Brown Archaeomythology is the study of Archaeology linked to Mythology. In this course Gillian Brown will share with students some of the ancient sites of Northern Europe, including Neolithic, Norse and Celtic. The class will examine slides of sites of interest, and discuss the impact that archaeology has had on unraveling the myths of some of our ancestors.
