Art & Nature at the Refuge: Ivy Baskets

Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge

Make baskets and other creations with English Ivy stems!
Join artist, Adrian, for this free basket making class from 1pm to 4pm. All materials will be provided. Clippers and lightweight gloves might come in handy.
English Ivy is an invasive, non-native plant that has escaped gardens and negatively impacts wildland habitats. Humboldt Bay NWR and many other land managers, communities and individuals are working diligently to remove it and prevent it from spreading.
