While helping our good friend Mark Dubrow unload his cargo from his father’s house in Malibu, we came upon a huge collection of his mother’s oil paintings that had been in storage there. We are excited to dust them off and share them with you.
From her humble beginnings behind a wood cookstove at a hardscrabble uranium mine in Utah to life as a Malibu jetsetter, Mary Goldwater captured on canvas what she saw in everyday life. Her vision unfolds in a series of sketches in the meeting room and matures into beach scenes, still lifes and self portraits in the great hall.
