Art Talk Sunday
Join Don Gregorio Antón for a special Art Talk at the Morris Graves Museum of Art, Sunday, May 5 at 2 p.m.
In celebration of the Northwest Eye Regional Fine Art Photography Exhibition and Competition, Don Antón presents an inspiring discussion on the potential of photography and the role it has played in his own life and in the lives of others on the North Coast. Don Antón has served Humboldt State University since 1991. He has lectured extensively throughout the country at universities and inner city schools in an effort to inspire students to realize their own unique expressive nature. His imagery has been widely exhibited nationally and internationally, and housed in major institutions. He is the recipient of the 2010 Freestyle Crystal Apple Faculty Award, and the 2002 Excellence in Photographic Education - Teacher of the Year from the Santa Fe Center for Visual Arts.
