Morris Graves Museum of Art

Join artist Kati Texas for Art Talk at the Morris Graves as she speaks on the topic of creative re-use in art following the opening of the annual Junque Arte exhibition and Kinetic Kouture: Fashion with a Re-Purpose show at the Morris Graves on October 3. Kati Texas, painter, sculptor, digital illustrator, has been an Artist in Residence for the Ink People Center for the Arts since 2006. She helped a crew of teenagers learn to paint while beautifying Eureka in the Rural Burl Mural Bureau, teaches digital art, in the MARZ Project after school program, and also directs the North Star Quest Camp for Adolescent Girls.
