Artist Ben Venom Speaks

Humboldt State University

On April 7th, the Associated Student Sculptors welcome bay area artist, Ben Venom to speak at Humboldt State University. Focusing on traditional craft, Ben Venom merges quilting with a passion for fringe societies. He takes inspiration from the historical Gees Bend community of quilters in Alabama and collides it with punk rock, heavy metal, motorcycle clubs and occult imagery. This lecture is free and open to the public. This event is wheelchair accessible.
