Ferndale Repertory Theatre is excited to announce auditions for our upcoming fall production of Sandy Rustin’s Clue, a fast-paced, madcap murder mystery comedy based on the cult classic film and the beloved board game.

It’s a dark and stormy night at Boddy Manor, and six mysterious guests have been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Secrets are revealed, weapons appear, bodies begin to pile up, and everyone is a suspect.

Packed with physical comedy, sharp timing, theatrical chaos, and iconic characters, Clue is a high-energy ensemble comedy that will keep audiences guessing until the final twist.

The Audition
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Sides will be provided at the audition. If you are interested in previewing the script, please email Jessie at jessie@ferndalerep.org.

No monologues required

Accents encouraged but not required. Actors may be asked to play with heightened style or character voices

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for light movement. This production will involve fast-paced comedy, physical storytelling, and ensemble timing

This production prioritizes comedic timing, bold character choices, physicality, and strong ensemble chemistry. First-time performers 18+ are warmly encouraged to audition.

Production Details
Rehearsals Begin: July 27

Rehearsals in Eureka: July 27 – August 21
Rehearsals in Ferndale: August 24 – September 10
Rehearsals will generally follow a Monday–Friday 6:30 – 9:30 evening schedule.
Not all actors will be called for every rehearsal.

Performance Dates: September 11 – October 4, 2026
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM
