Auditions for Spongebob the Musical with HLOC

HLOC’s The Space

It’s our 50th anniversary and Humboldt Light Opera Company is excited and proud to announce their return to the big stage with “Nickelodeon’s The SpongeBob Musical.” HLOC is inviting performers 13+ to audition April 29th and 30th at The Space in Sunny Brae, Arcata, Ca. Performers must bring sheet music for the pianist to audition. HLOC is seeking performers of all talent levels but is also looking for those who have experience in tap and also those with abilities in skateboarding and roller skating.

The musical (with original songs written by everyone from Cindy Lauper, David Bowie & Brian Eno to Panic! At the Disco and John Legend) is an adventurous romp through Bikini Bottom with your favorite characters from the show—Spongebob, Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, Plankton, and all the rest. Help HLOC bring this story alive on stage by auditioning and showing us your wonderful IMAGINATION.

On April 29th, the auditions will run from 10am–12:00pm on the 30th, 11:00am–3:00pm
