Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary
Join Redwood Region Audubon Society for a free guided field trip at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday, September 3, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Bring your binoculars and meet trip leader Chet Ogan at the end of South I Street (Klopp Lake) in Arcata for incredible views of Humboldt Bay, easy-to-walk trails, and a great diversity of birdlife. September marks the beginning of many migrants’ journeys so come observe and enjoy the migratory behaviors and feeding frenzies that will likely be encountered!
