Author Visit and Journal Workshop with Margaret Kellermann

Join author Margaret Kellermann for an easygoing journal-keeping workshop for ages 8 to 98, along with a book reading and signing of her novel, Annie California. The middle-grade book is written in journal format by the fictional Annie, a smart, brave and funny 10-year-old from Eureka. She’s the truth-teller on an increasingly dysfunctional family road trip. The book has been a hit with adults and the intended audience of 8-to-12-year-olds. Bring a notebook and your favorite pen, or use the library’s paper and pen. The workshop will also be offered in the Eureka Library, Saturday. June 1, 1 p.m.
