What belongs in your garden soil, and what doesn’t? Join Eddie Tanner, owner of Deepseeded Farm in Arcata, for a practical guide to choosing composts, mulches, and soil conditioners. Learn what each is best for and avoid mistakes commonly seen in home gardens. Eddie is the author of The Humboldt Kitchen Gardener and brings decades of local experience, including managing the UIHS Potowot Garden and serving as a UC Cooperative Extension farm advisor. He holds a B.S. in Soil Science and an M.S. in Agriculture. Note this event will take place in the upstairs conference room.
