June 1, 2021, Eureka, CA - On Saturday, June 5, 2021 Bare Elegance Burlesque Beauties (BEB) will be making a splash with their car washing fundraiser and BBQ. BEB have been invited to perform in San Francisco at the longest running burlesque production, HUBBA HUBBA Revue’s Juneteenth event and are raising funds to support the trip. Founder and producer Elektra Gray says “Bare Elegance Burlesque Beauties have been providing inclusive space for aspiring burlesque artists in the greater Humboldt area since 2019.” BEB strives to equip aspiring burlesque artists in the Humboldt area with a solid foundation in burlesque and its history. BEB believes that within a burlesque community one can build confidence and personal empowerment through exploring vulnerability, transparency, nudity and sensuality. The mission of BEB is to feed creative minds and teach performers how to have an impact in their community. HUBBA HUBBA Revue, founded in 2006, has been voted multiple times as the top 10 Burlesque shows in the United States and Best Burlesque in San Francisco. This year’s Juneteenth performance: An Evening of Black Excellence and the Tops in Tease will be HUBBA HUBBA’s first live show since the Covid-19 Pandemic began. Elektra Gray will be joined by four other troupe members in this epic performance.
