It’s a battle… & we are hosting it at HUMBREWS, one of Humboldt’s most iconic music venues! we are bringing back famed bass producer and Humboldt favorite, PORCH for the first time since his last Humboldt sell out show over 2 years ago. He has been selected to captain the Bass team as he goes toe to toe with Brazilian house music phenom MARJO LAK, who is championing the House team. GMNIITE will be rippin’ for the bass team and Pretzz will be throwing down on the House team! There are 2 secret djs taking the stage as well to support their favorite team. The VAGABOND DANCERS have selected a bass & house team to dance battle for the crown. You can show your support for the bass team by dressing in dark fits and if you love house you can wear your shiny and light articles. Don’t miss as we bring Arcane to Humbrews for the first time… They have picked their teams, have you?

PORCH:
Porch AKA Nick Loporchio is a Los Angeles- based musician and producer. Coming from eclectic musical upbringing, music has always been a way to connect with people and himself.
In 2013, he founded the reggae band Iya Terra, filling the role of bassist; they have been extensively touring since. In his travels, he was inspired by the deep grooves of roots music, HIFI Soundsystem culture, Dubstep and all things bass.
In 2019 he joined an online music education portal & record label Producer Dojo, founded by the innovative ill.Gates. Since joining the Dojo he has had the honor of releasing multiple tracks on the label.
Porch hopes to create a unique bass experience, that keeps the dancefloor grooving; while providing a safe space and platform for people to express themselves. Love.

MARJO LAK:
Brazilian Music Festivals are the roots of DJ Marjo Lak’s career, inspired by the collective celebration that is DANCE. Marjo’s eclectic soundscapes range from Tech-house, Electro Swing, Brazilian Pop, World, Soul, Funk, Dub to disco, and jazz. Since moving to California’s North Coast, Marjo has become well known in the Humboldt Electronic Music scene. Marjo initiated SUMMERTRONICA, the first all-electronic music tent, at the 30+ year Mateel Summer Arts & Music Festival in Benbow, CA and is a member of the long-standing, local (and beloved) DJ collective Deep Groove Society. She and her husband created Fraktal Productions in 2015 to introduce renowned musical artists to eager local audiences. Most recently, Marjo was blessed to share her music and passion for Electronic Music at festivals across the west coast, Brazil and Europe, including Oregon Eclipse Gathering by Symbiosis, Sonica Festival/Italy, Universo Paralello Brazil, Enchanted Forest Gathering, and Northern Nights Music Festival. Through it all, DJ Marjo Lak was able to do what she loves best: spreading her love of Dance Music with new audiences locally and internationally.

From Ballet to Bass music. GMNIITE originally bloomed from 20 years of a dance and performance background, a lifelong passion which shows on stage. She began her foray into this world with Dubstep and Bass music – it was House music that she was drawn to last, yet it stuck with her the most and has been bread and booty ever since! GMNIITE’s performances are filled with the wonky, whirly, spacey sounds and sub bass that will catapult you and your shakin’ booty into orbit. She’s a little lady known to bring big sounds and bigger energy! She has graced the decks for names like Great Dane, Snoop Dogg, Sacha Robotti, Kill Frenzy, Angelz, Lenny Kiser, The Librarian and festivals including Burning Man, Enchanted Forest, & Northern Nights Music Festival. more. PRETZZ:
From California, Pretzz grew up consumed by music and edm as a whole, never being bound by one particular genre, but becoming ever so obsessed with dance music.

Always pushing what is possible in his ability, Pretzz produces a wide range of dance music from melodic house, and tech house, to high energy bass house and trap. His bright and energetic persona paired with many releases such as his hit bass house track “House Party” and groovy tech house club banger “Nothing Compares”, quickly caused Pretzz to gain traction and increase his endless drive to create more music, and spread positivity.

Regardless of being in the early stages of his career, his vibrant and spirited personality paired with his ability to blend a multitude of genres, Pretzz strives to deliver memorable sets filled with energy and feeling. Driven by his intense work ethic but overwhelming capability to make sure everyone has a good time, he is always certain to bring the party wherever he goes.
