Be a California Coastal National Monument Ambassador

Trinidad Coastal Land Trust

If you love learning about the coast and sharing your knowledge with others, then this free six-session training to become a California Coastal National Monument Ambassador is for you. Volunteer Coastal Monument Ambassadors assist with outreach activities that help the public understand and appreciate the natural resources and significance of the Trinidad area, which is a national coastal monument. Ambassador training starts in March and continues in six sessions through the end of April, culminating with a kayak tour on Trinidad Bay in May. Previous CCNM Ambassador graduates are welcome to attend any of the sessions. For a complete schedule and details visit trinidadcoastallandtrust.org. Space is limited, so RSVP by email to Carol Vander Meer, Trinidad Coastal Land Trust director of community engagement, at carol@trinidadcoastallandtrust.org, or call 677-2501. The Trinidad Coastal Land Trust was founded by area landowners and friends in 1978 to protect the beauty and character of the Humboldt coast from Little River to Big Lagoon. Join other stewards of this unique shoreline by becoming a California Coastal National Monument ambassador.
