Volunteer Driver for Seniors

Area 1 Agency on Aging

You can make a difference in the life of a senior. Consider joining the Area 1 Agency on Aging’s Volunteer Driver Program. Drivers are needed to provide rides to medical appointments. Choose your own hours and get reimbursed for mileage. This program supports seniors who are living independently but do not have access to transportation for healthcare. Volunteers must possess a valid California Driver’s License, provide a DMV report, pass a criminal background check, and have vehicle liability insurance of $100,000 and $300,000 per bodily injury.
