Join Sanctuary Forest on Saturday, August 24th for the Beauty of the Lost Coast Hike: Mal Coombs Park to Dead Man’s Point. Participants will be treated to an informative historical narrative about Shelter Cove, a discussion of natural history of the area including the San Andreas fault, coastal erosion, marine mammals and more. Meet at 10am at the lighthouse at Mal Coombs Park in Shelter Cove, and bring lunch, water and sturdy shoes for this moderate 2 mile round trip walk.
