Bee Fest 2017 “Long Live the Queen”

This fun, family-friendly gathering is a great place to celebrate honey bees! Resplendent with local artisans, workshops on pollinator related activities and a local honey-tasting contest. Many local organizations including the Seed Exchange and the Native Plant Society will be there with seeds and live native plants to promote pollinator friendly gardens. You can watch live honey bees attend their queen in the observation hive! The “Honeybee Marketplace” and a raffle offer fantastic local crafts and gift baskets. There is an art show for adults and kids (Theme: Long Live the Queen”) Build your own mason bee house! Fresh, local honey and mead tasting, delicious food and live music. This event is presented by the Humboldt County Beekeepers Association and E.C.O. Eureka.
