TOMORROW at 2 P.M.

Bestselling Author John Warner on AI and Critical Thinking

College of the Redwoods

Critical Thinking in the Age of AI
CR Theater, Eureka Campus
Free and open to the public

John Warner’s presentation will examine how the growing presence of AI-generated language is changing the ways people communicate, learn, and engage with ideas. Drawing on experience, from encountering automated content to deciding whether to use AI for a task, he will invite audiences to consider what is gained, and what may be lost, when technology takes on work traditionally done through human thought and effort.

The discussion will also explore why the process of learning matters as much as the finished product, including the uncertainty, experimentation, revision, and occasional frustration that often lead to discovery and growth.

The presentation is free and open to the public, and no technical knowledge or prior experience with AI is needed.

Warner will speak from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by an audience question-and-answer session from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m.
