NOW, VOYAGER (based on the novel by Olive Higgins Prouty)
Charlotte Vale is a dowdy, repressed woman who, with help from a kind psychiatrist, becomes a beautiful, confident woman. She takes a pleasure cruise, where she meets Jerry, an architect trapped in an unhappy marriage and saddled with a troubled daughter. The two fall in love, but fate has other plans.
Starring Bette Davis, Paul Henreid, and Claude Rains.
