27th Annual Bikes by the Bay Returns to Eureka on August 15 with Motorcycles, Music, and Community Spirit

EUREKA, Calif. – The United Bikers of Northern California (UBNC) is excited to welcome riders and the community back for the 27th Annual Bikes by the Bay, taking place Saturday, August 15, at Halvorsen Park in Eureka. Celebrating nearly three decades of tradition, this year’s event promises a full day of motorcycles, live entertainment, local vendors, and family-friendly fun.
Bikes by the Bay continues to grow each year, featuring an expanded lineup of motorcycle games, unique vendors, great food, and activities for visitors of all ages. Whether you’re a lifelong rider or simply looking for a fun community event, there’s something for everyone.

“Nothing says fun, tradition and charity all rolled into one show like Bikes by the Bay,” said UBNC President Robert Slater.
Motorcycle Show and Bike Games
One of the day’s biggest attractions is the Motorcycle Show, where riders from across the region compete in a wide variety of classes, including:
• Customs: Import, European, American, and Choppers
• Modern Performance: Sport Bike, Supersport, Hyper Naked, and Adventure
• Classics & Cruisers: Vintage, Touring, Bagger, Dyna, Softail, and Mini Bikes
Motorcyclists of every make and model are encouraged to participate.

Once the awards are presented, the action moves to the bike games arena, where spectators can enjoy crowd favorites including the burnout competition, plank race, weenie bite, slow race, and the always-entertaining motorcycle keg roll.
Supporting the Community

More than just a motorcycle festival, Bikes by the Bay is dedicated to giving back. Proceeds from the event benefit several local organizations, including the Eureka Rescue Mission Women’s Shelter, Food for Peoples- Backpacks for Kids and Senior Brown Bag Program, and Humboldt Autism Alliance.
“Three generations of my family are involved; we really love and believe in this event and the charities we donate to,” said UBNC Vice President Jessica Doremus. “Every ticket sold helps us support local causes that matter.”

Live Entertainment and Local Vendors
Sounds of Skynyrd, is bringing the iconic music of Lynyrd Skynyrd to the stage with 2 different sets. Guests can also explore a variety of local vendors, including North Coast Cycle, along with many others offering motorcycle gear, handcrafted goods, food, and more.
