BioBlitz at Baker Beach

Trinidad Coastal Land Trust

Join Friends of the Dunes and the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust in a smartphone-powered BioBlitz. A BioBlitz is an intensive one-day study of biodiversity in a specific location; in this case participants will collect citizen science data using the iNaturalist app. We will be exploring the tide pools exposed during this very low tide at Baker’s Beach. People of all ages and skill levels are welcome! Bring a fully charged smartphone with the iNaturalist app already downloaded and tons of enthusiasm, we’ll rally some folks who know the area, and together we’ll do some citizen science! Please meet at the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust in Trinidad, near the library.
