Birding by Bike
Bike birding is back! Join Redwood Region Audubon Society and trip leader Janelle Chojnacki for another round of bikes, birds, and brews on Tuesday, September 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This month we’ll start and end at The Local Cider Bar in Arcata. Meet across the street on the sidewalk in front of the North Coast Co-Op and we’ll hop on our bikes to ride around Arcata’s V Street Loop looking for grassland songbirds and shorebirds, raptors hunting in the area, and anything else that catches our eyes. The ride will be smooth and slow. Please note that we will be returning to the Cider Bar close to sunset, so bike lights are encouraged.
