Come along with guest speaker Liz Houghton, an instructor from College of the Redwoods, on a journey into the underground world of soils. Use hands on activities to learn how to get to know your soil and how to take care of it. Starting with how soil is formed and moving on to learning specific characteristics that develop in soil overtime. Discover some simple yet practical techniques you can use to assess soil and understand why it is so important to treat it well.
