Violin like you’ve never heard it before! Black Violin is a genre busting blend of classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B, and bluegrass music. Accompanied by their incredible band, featuring ace turntable whiz DJ SPS and a drummer, “at times they play with the intense seriousness of orchestral soloists; at others they fiddle as if at a hoedown” (The New York Times). The group’s groundbreaking collaboration has seen them perform their music for everybody from tens of thousands of rock fans at the Bonnaroo Festival to the President’s Inaugural Ball.
