Blending Colors/Fibers on a Drum Carder

Learn to create amazing color and fiber blends for hand spinning or felting using a drum carder. Join the Humboldt Handweavers and Spinners Guild at our monthly program as award-winning wool producer, Janet Heppler, demonstrates how to combine a variety of dyed fibers—such as wool, mohair, silk, and angora—to create beautiful, blended wool batts. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with the drum carder to make their own unique batts. Please bring a spinning wheel or spindles, and a drum carder if you have one. All fiber will be provided.
