Blues Dance Workshop with Brenda Russell

International dance instructor, Brenda Russell, is coming back to Eureka to teach a Blues Dance Workshop.
She will teach four classes:

Ballroom Blues
Learn the groove and aesthetics of traditional traveling blues dances. Swing Walk, Strut, Stride, Trot, Grind are all Ballroom Blues dances, come get the basics before diving deeper.

Blues Grooves I
A sampler of slow blues styles that can be danced in bars or at blues parties.

Blues Grooves 2
A continuation of identifying common blues grooves and adding vocabulary to express their uniqueness.

Fusion
In this session we will identify and explore the common dance and skill bases that people bring into fusion, identify which you bring, and make a nice tasty soup.
