The Northern California Association of Nonprofits invites the public to February’s Board Leadership Roundtable. This event is geared toward board members and those who work with them. This month’s topic is Effective Meetings and Decision-making. As some smarty once said, “Most meetings are an organized way of doing nothing.” But the State of California requires nonprofit boards to meet and make their decisions collectively. So, how can you make your meetings effective, efficient, productive, and even fun? Join us in discussing the elements of a good meeting as well as various ways of making decisions, from consensus to Roberta’s Rules of Order.
