Bolero!, Makenu, Mad Alchemy Liquid Light Show

The Miniplex at Richards’ Goat Tavern

San Francisco’s multicultural psychedelic rock group BOLERO! performs what they describe as “FREAK-FLAG-MUSIC.” Inspired by the Bay Area bands of the late 60s and early 70s, Bolero! produces a dynamic and rich range of compositions that mix Latin rock, blues, soul, folk, jazz and psychedelia. Formed in 2019, BOLERO! have become one of the house bands for S.F. venue The Chapel, and have supported such acts as Big Brother & The Holding Company, Johnny Echols & LOVE, Dakila, & more.

MAD ALCHEMY is an Analog Liquid Light Show in the great San Francisco tradition of Bill Ham, Brotherhood of Light and Glen McKay, from the heyday of the Bay’s 60s Psychedelic Ballrooms. Principal Lance Gordon has been performing this art form since 1971, with the likes of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Phil Lesh of The Grateful Dead, Roky Erickson, Brian Jonestown Massacre, and more.
