Bowl for Kids’ Sake XXXVI
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Coast will host the 36th annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake on March 1st & 2nd 2019! The Hollywood themed grand celebration of fundraising continues to be our most successful annual fundraiser. Every year over 150 teams from local businesses, schools, churches, & service clubs collect donations from friends, co-workers, & neighbors to help raise the funds needed to provide mentoring services to local youth facing adversity. Every dollar raised helps to provide professionally supported volunteer mentors for children in our community.
Each fundraising team’s reward for collecting donations is a round of bowling and fun (including prizes!). Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraising teams make mentoring happen while having a lot of fun! We look forward to seeing all our old friends at Hollywood Bowl, and making some new ones.
How to form a fundraising/bowling team:
1. Designate a team captain and gather 4-6 fundraisers
Friends, family, and co-workers make great fundraisers
Determine your team name, incorporating the Hollywood theme if possible!
2. Call the BBBSNC office to set up a bowling day and time for your team
Bowling lane and shoes are free for bowlers with a minimum of $50 in pledges.
Bowling times are available on a first come, first serve basis
3. Download and print team roster and pledge sheets from our website

4. Collect donations and pledges for the kids
Bowling lane and shoes are free for bowlers with a minimum of $50 in pledges
Suggested individual goal is $210 (this will fund 6 volunteer background checks)
Suggested team goal is $1200 (this will fund a match for one year)
Every dollar raised goes toward mentoring a child in need from our community
5. Come in costume, ready to bowl!
Bring your donation sheet and FirstGiving print-out with you
Verification of Online Donations required before prizes are awarded
Prizes for most enthusiasm and/or best costumes are awarded every hour
