Bowl of Beans Benefit

Join us for our 18th Annual Bowl of Beans Benefit on Monday, January 15 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Arcata Community Center, 321 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway. This event honors Dr. King and his good work while benefitting our local youth. Enjoy a dinner of rice and beans from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., then performances by Storyteller Baba Jamal Koram, Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir & Youth Choir, Asha Nan and more. Admission is $6.00 at the door with proceeds benefitting Arcata Recreation’s Youth Development Scholarship Fund for the Arts and Arcata Elementary School’s Art Program.
