“Branches” is a 9-song collaboration between Northern California Hip-Hop Artists Cali Los Mikyo, RA MHTP, and Thatfool AL. Rain and shine, this project is deeply rooted in cultural resilience, layered wordplay and poetic storytelling over moody, hard-hitting beats. Like three unique branches of the same tree; LOS, RA, & AL have come together after years of growing through the landscape of underground Hip-Hop in their respective solo careers. Individually, they have built diverse music catalogs and online followings, performed up and down the West Coast paying dues, connecting dots and dropping seeds. This season of “Branches” sees the three emcees in an evolved form, once again, sharing the fruits of their creative labor and their love for the artform by inviting listeners in to experience something both simultaneously fresh and familiar.
