Brett McFarland & The Freedom Riders

Eureka Theater

On March 21, Brett McFarland & The Freedom Riders bring a full night of outlaw country and California-grown Americana to the historic Eureka Theater.

Known for powerful live shows and songs rooted deep in Humboldt soil, Brett blends back-to-the-land spirit, poetic storytelling, and raw conviction into a sound that feels both timeless and fiercely local. From crowd favorites like “Humboldt” to brand-new material, this will be a high-energy, full-band performance built for the room.

This will also mark the band’s first full hometown performance since headlining the Humboldt County Fair with Lyza Padilla on bass— a night many of you shared with us and one that carries even deeper meaning now.

Support for the evening comes from Daniel Nickerson, a dear friend and longtime musical collaborator of Lyza’s, and his band Cowtown bringing their North Coast spirit to open the night.

If you’ve been waiting for a night to gather, sing loud, and feel it together — this is it.
