Brew at the Zoo 2015

Sequoia Park Zoo

Embark on a suds safari with fine beers, live music, and delicious pub-style grub!

Every year, Sequoia Park Zoo hosts a 21 & over beer festival for local breweries with aim to raise funds for Zoo projects. The event features beer tasting, live music, and tasty food for over 1,500 guests in the Sequoia Park Zoo’s beautiful redwood forest setting.

The Sequoia Park Zoo Foundation is excited to announce its 9th annual Brew at the Zoo, to be held Saturday, May 9th at Sequoia Park Zoo from 4 to 8 p.m. in Eureka, California. Check out our calendar page to save the date!

Brew 2015 will also host live music performances from local artists, including The Mad River Rose , Spindrifters, and The No Good Redwood Ramblers! Boujie Baking Company will be donating beer-themed treats for the event as well.

This year’s event promises to be more striking than ever as we host our first Brew at the Zoo among the just-completed Watershed Heroes exhibit featuring our charismatic river otter brothers, our school of salmon, Winky the northern spotted owl, Dorsie the North American Porcupine, and our new bald eagle, Cheyenne.

Proceeds from the event are a significant boost to the Zoo Foundation’s fundraising efforts to improve the Zoo, and will help us to work towards the completion of our Master Plan, which includes a Native Predators Zone and Redwood Canopy Walk.
