Sinkyone Wilderness State Park

CA State Parks, Sanctuary Forest, and Friends of the Lost Coast are teaming up on Saturday, March 7 from 10a.m.-2p.m. to remove invasive French broom from the coastal prairies of Sinkyone Wilderness State Park. Meet at 9:50a.m. at Jones Beach Trailhead on Needle Rock Rd. Tools and gloves are provided. Bring water and a snack – and be sure to dress in layers and wear sturdy, waterproof footwear. Carpooling is recommended and free camping is available to volunteers, with advance registration. Steady rain will cancel. For info or to RSVP, email info@lostcoast.org.
