You are invited to a concert and dance party with hauntingly beautiful songs and driving, complex dance rhythms. BULGARIKA, a traditional Bulgarian folk band, will be at Synapsis, 1675 Union Street, Eureka on Monday, October 13, 2025.

Award-winning vocalist and teacher Donka Koleva sings traditional songs from various regions of Bulgaria, accompanied by instrumentalists Nikolay Kolev on gadulka, a bowed rebec; Stoyan Kostov, tambura, a long-necked lute; Anton Shekerdjiev, tupan drum.
For dancing you don’t need a partner and there will be a dance leader to show you the steps!
Entrance: $10-20 sliding scale. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
