Experience the timeless tradition of canoeing with this beginner-friendly introduction to paddling as a team. Learn essential canoe strokes, steering techniques, and communication skills while exploring the calm waters of Humboldt Bay and its sloughs. Whether you’re new to paddling or looking to build confidence in a canoe, this course provides a fun and supportive environment to develop your skills.

Please bring layers, water shoes, sunscreen, and a water bottle. All canoeing equipment, including canoes, paddles, and PFDs, will be provided.
