Career Frontiers College Insight Panel

Arcata High School library

From 3:35 - 4:35 p.m. on Thursday April 7 in the Arcata High School (1720 M Street, Arcata) library, College of the Redwoods Professor and Career Technical Education Dean Marla Gleave will present about the training programs and opportunities available in Career Technical Education (CTE). CTE includes short-duration skills development classes, certificates of achievement to show mastery in a specific area, and two-year Associate Degree programs. Some of CR CTE programs include training in Agriculture, Automotive Technology, Construction, Computer Information Systems, Drafting, and Welding. Local high school students and parents are welcome at this public event.
