Checkered Past
Radio Paradise opens up the studio for Arts Alive. May’s featured band is Checkered Past- Founded in 2021 by Humboldt Saxophone legend Kris Sundeen, “Checkered Past” is a high-energy 8-piece Ska, Reggae, Rocksteady, Soul, and Dub Band. With a style combining first, second, third, and now fourth wave of ska you are bound to move your feet and pick up those legs to the grooves that fill up every inch of your mind, body, and soul.
