Chubritza Statewide Folk Dance Songs Part 1

Local folk dance band Chubritza is playing two evenings of music at the Folkdance Federation of California annual gathering in Petaluma May 20-21. Chubritza plays traditional folk dance songs from many different European countries, including Bulgaria, Ukraine, Greece, Northern Macedonia, Albania, Turkey, England, Romania, Bosnia, Serbia, and Croatia. In advance of this performance, Chubritza will be playing their statewide sets for local Humboldt Bay audiences at two different upcoming shows: Friday, April 22 at 6:30 and Thursday, May 12 at 6:00. Both shows will be at Synapsis, 1675 Union Street in Eureka. All folk dancers and music listeners are welcome!
