Humboldt Cider Company Tap Room

What: This week’s organization is a consumer based group of blind and sighted people whose purpose is to advocate for more opportunities for visually impaired people. This local council helps serve the blind and visually impaired residents of Humboldt County, California. HCB promotes equal community accessibility for the visually impaired. Projects include improving the relevant functions of trails, movie theaters, and traffic signals, to name a few. The organization also sends members to functions, such as conferences and sensory gardens (user friendly gardens that encourage garden guests to touch, taste, admire and listen). 10% of cider sales (excluding growlers) are donated to the organization!
