‘Cider for People’ Release Party

Humboldt Cider Company Tap Room

Last fall was an incredibly productive season for fruit trees in Humboldt County, and Food for People received an abundance of donations of apples to our Gleaning program. Some of the apples could not be distributed in our food pantries, so in order to divert them from the waste stream we collaborated with Humboldt Cider Co. to turn them into cider!

Join us on Friday, April 5 from 4 - 9 pm at Humboldt Cider Co.’s new tap room at
2901 Hubbard Ln. in Eureka to try out this one-of-a-kind, limited edition cider! $1 from each pint purchased will be donated to Food for People.
