Cistem Failure Showcase

Outer Space

In 2022, Outer Space hosted the first Cistem Failure, an all-ages drag and music show. In 2023, we were awarded a grant from the Upstate Creative Corps to fund Cistem Failure. With this funding, we have developed programming to train youth in running all aspects of a live performance event. In August and September we held our first workshops, during which participants learned the basics of sound engineering for a live event, how to do event publicity, and more. Our first performance in October was beyond fabulous and inspiring! We are excited to announce our upcoming performance on January 25th, 2024! Come out and support the youth in your community at Cistem Failure!
