Citizen Science Series Community Class
Are you interested in learning more about your local environment? Join the City of Eureka in the Citizen Science Series. The first session of this series will focus on bird science, with more topics to come. Learn about the wonderful species that live in Eureka and Humboldt Bay.
This class will meet four times at different locations in Eureka to explore the birds that call this city home - the Adorni Community Center, the Sequoia Park Zoo, Cooper Gulch Recreation Center, and the Hikshari’ Trail. This class is for youth ages 6-10 accompanied by an adult. Families are encouraged to register.
Youth participants pay $32 for all four meetings and accompanying adults do not need to pay a fee.
