Community Easter Egg Hunt

Larson Park

1,000 Candy-Filled Easter Eggs Fill Larson Park!!! On Saturday, April 16, at 2pm children from all over will have the chance to hunt for 1,000 brightly colored, candy-filled eggs. This free family event at Larson Park will also include a cotton-candy machine, bounce-house, fresh popcorn, and face-painting. Larson Park’s large gazebo provides ample space for a rain or shine event. These Easter-weekend festivities are hosted by Branches Humboldt, a new Christian church in Arcata. The event is open to everyone and all are welcome! Branches’ Lead Pastor Justin Fox, an Arcata native, has always desired to see a community of faith reach out in meaningful ways to his community. “It’s such a joy to see kids and families engaged in fun activities outside! We hope this is an event that helps us see new life, new possibilities, and brings us together in new ways!” Branches Humboldt will also be offering an Easter service the next day; Sunday April 17 at 11am at 475 5th St. in Arcata. All are welcome!
