Conserved Lands & Waters of the Lost Coast lecture series pt 3 w/ Priscilla Hunter & Hawk Rosales
The final lecture in the 3-part Conserved Lands and Waters of the Lost Coast series will feature Priscilla Hunter & Hawk Rosales of the InterTribal Sinkyone Wilderness Council and a talk on Tribal Protected Areas of the Lost Coast. They will reflect upon the impacts of the Sinkyone Tribal land movement, initiated nearly 40 years ago to halt cutting of the Lost Coast’s last old growth redwoods—a remarkable journey that has resulted in the establishment of nearly 5000 acres of Tribal Protected Areas along the Lost Coast, and contributed significantly to the healing of nature and people.
