Cooper Gulch Park Input Meeting

The City of Eureka is applying for grant funding to upgrade Cooper Gulch Park. Over the years, the City has received lots of feedback about this park. This has resulted in many grant applications being submitted but were not awarded due to the highly competitive nature of park funding programs. Another opportunity is available through the CA State Parks: Statewide Park Program funded by Prop 4.

Join the City of Eureka as we reevaluate the 2021 concept that the community rallied behind, consider new priorities, and help us prepare to submit the proposal by December 17, 2026. Your voice will directly impact the future of this park.

Public Input Meetings

Two public meetings are planned and you only need to attend one. Pick whichever works best for your schedule:

Saturday, October 24th, 1:30pm at Cooper Gulch Park. Meet at the main parking lot. Free ice cream provided.

Thursday, October 29th, 5:30pm on Zoom.
