Craft Supply Swap

Crafting is a great activity for winter. It allows you to stay indoors during cold weather with your cozy and creative outlet, while you chat with a friend or listen to music or audiobooks! So many projects fit the season, like making warm hats and scarves and making your home bright with handmade winter decor.

Bring in art supplies from projects you decided not to pursue and find the supplies and tools for a new creative outlet. Ignite your creativity, cut the clutter, reduce waste and make some other crafter happy when you swap!

Bring gently used (or never used) craft supplies that you no longer need
and pick up something new-to-you!

Please make sure that all items you bring are clean and in good condition.

Examples of materials to bring
Fabric and felt, embroidery supplies, thread, buttons, sewing supplies
Knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarn, stitch counters, etc.
Rubber stamps, useable ink pads, embossing tools, heat tools
Paper and cardstock, origami paper, scrapbook supplies
Jewelry-making supplies and tools
Art supplies, art tools, water-based art paints, brushes, canvases, graphite/pastels, art paper, picture frames (empty), framing supplies
Useable children’s crafts—kits or supplies, craft books
Items listed above are ideas about good items to donate. We don’t guarantee that all those items will be here, but come & find something wonderful!

Please, no flammable liquids such as spray paint, paint thinners, etc. The Library reserves the right to reject any item deemed inappropriate.

Any supplies remaining after the swap will be donated to the library or local agencies.
