Creamery Festival
Arcata’s historic Creamery district comes to life August 23-25 with pageantry, performance and people. This three day event features violinist Jenny Schienman and sax quartet The Tiptons, salsa band Ponche’, an outdoor showing of Buster Keaton’s silent classic “The General” with a live score performed by Gregg Moore and ensemble and a Big Top Vaudeville Variety show.

Friday, August 23
opening night events all free
Elemental: An Outdoor Pageant Spectacle featuring a community lantern procession, giant puppets, stilt walkers, and giant shadow performance all throughout the district. 8pm
Buster Keaton’s silent classic
“The General ” with a live score by Gregg Moore and band 9 pm
Ponche ‘ salsa dancing in the Big Top tent with an eight piece band 10:30 pm

Live Music and Variety on two stages
