Eccentrici-Circus presents “Creatures In The Night”, our debut post-pandemic performance and we are coming back with a bang! We are thrilled to be working with the MARZ project and cannot thank them enough for helping us build this amazing benefit performance filled with music, circus acts, burlesque, and more happening this Saturday, November 20th at 8p.m. at Forever Found in Eureka! Traveling entertainer and one-man band Nathan Ignacio will be opening this delightful cabaret which will bring together some of the most exciting local performers Humboldt has to offer, including sideshow acts from Shea Freelove and Dizzy which are sure to entertain and perhaps offer a scare or two; comedian Sam Murphy with a surprise special guest(!); local lovelies Bare Elegance Burlesque will be followed by tantalizing pole dancers Diamond Reign and Nickity Splitz and aerialist Laura Nash, aka “Lola Lotus”, with the strength of a spider monkey and moves that will make you squirm - in a good way! Wrapping up this spectacular evening, outstanding one-woman act “HornZ” is sure to get those bodies moving. With a background in jazz music, her trumpet serenade and keytar magic will invigorate even the most uninspired dancers to get up and shake that thang! A handful of local visual artists will be on hand as well selling their creations, and representatives of the arcata art gallery will be providing information and resources for local artists interested in publicity and networking. The MARZ Project provides Humboldt and DelNort county youth ages 12 to 26 with the tools to help them express themselves creatively in visual art, audio, and video production. All MARZ students have FREE access to a full array of equipment, software, and training to aid them in their artistic expression! The MARZ project will also be live streaming this event, so if you cannot make it out to the show, we will be broadcasting the show for all to see.
