Culture Commons

See Event Description

The Eureka Cultural Arts District anounces The Culture Commons Festival happening September 25, 26, and 27th. This three-day celebration of art and community will happen at multiple venues throughout the Eureka Cultural Arts District.
Culture Commons is a multicultural arts event that serves as a platform for creative expression, cultural exchange, and entertainment. Spanning several unique venues across the county, the festival brings together the diverse communities that make Humboldt County home. The three-day event will offer a weekend of art, music, dance, storytelling, workshops, and food that reflects the many traditions and heritages represented in the region.
The Eureka Cultural Arts District is one of just 24 State-recognized Cultural Arts Districts in California. Stretching from the historic Blue Ox Millworks in the east to the serene reaches of the Eureka Slough in the west, and from Waterfront Drive down to Seventh Street — the district is a living, breathing canvas for creativity, commerce, and community. The district envisions an inclusive future nourished by art, food, performance, and culture — all the things that make a place feel genuinely, irreplaceably alive.

The Culture Commons Festival is made possible through the partnership of the Eureka Cultural Arts District, the Ink People Center for the Arts, Wiyot Tribe, City of Eureka, and Eureka Mainstreet. All events are free and open to the community.
